All About Elsie Q: 

Elsie Q designer Angela Smith has always had a passion for the quirky and unusual. As a fashion student, Angela took her unique perspective on the world of fashion and applied it to textile designing.

After earning her degree, Angela headed for New York City and launched her clothing and accessories line. She named it Elsie Q in honor of her spunky grandmother, Elsie Quig, who gifted her with her first sewing machines. Many Elsie Q designs are inspired by the personal experiences shared between Angela and her grandmother and every piece has a story!

Since it's launch eight years ago, Elsie Q has become a fixture in the NYC independent artist community. Elsie Q designs are sold in boutiques throughout the city, as well as at local markets and art shows.

Most recently, Elsie Q has begun to expand it's online presence, launching an Etsy store and website.

As for Angela, she currently divides her time between the frenetic energy of NYC and a cozy home in rural Michigan.
